I would like to introduce myself to the citizens of Fannin County. After much thought and prayer I have decided to run for Sheriff of Fannin County. I'm not a politician; I'm a professional police officer and as the Sheriff of Fannin County I would be in a position to broaden the services to our growing community.
I am a native of Fannin County, as is my wife of 24 years Brenda Ware Scearce. My wife, Brenda, works at Mountain Valley Motors and has been there for 9 years. We have two sons Shawn and Chad Scearce both graduates of Fannin County High School. Shawn currently attends Tennessee Temple College in Chattanooga, TN and Chad attends Georgia Perimeter College in Atlanta. Law Enforcement has been my life and has helped me serve the communities where I have been privileged to work. I take pleasure in attending McCaysville Church of God. I also enjoy working with various programs in our community. I have served several years as president of Fannin County High School football booster club as well as been president of the local softball association.
